INSTRUCTOR

Ashton is thrilled to be back another season teaching at Ark City Dance! This will be his third season at the studio. While at Ark City Dance Ashton has taught Jazz, Musical Theater, and assisted with Gymnastics. He has also assisted with our amazing competition team. Ashton’s love for dance and the performing arts started in high school while being on the Purple Wave Color Guard team. He also spent two years in the show choir performing and dancing in the fall musicals and BVS concerts. Upon graduation Ashton worked with the ACHS vocal music department as one of their choreographers for 4 years. This really blossomed and grew his love and passion for dance! He is so excited to be back in the studio with the amazing kids and to see what this upcoming season will bring! 

FUN FACT: Ashton's favorite movies are Hocus Pocus, The Wizard of Oz, Bridesmaids, Chicago, and Scream!

INSTRUCTOR

Madisyn, one of our wonderful alumni, danced with Ark City Dance from the age of four all the way up to eighteen years old and even started competitive dancing at the age of fifteen. After graduating high school, she attended Cowley College and majored in Criminal Justice. While at Cowley, she was apart of the Tigerettes dance team. She has been married to her husband, Jordan, for three years, and has a one year old daughter, Wrenleigh. She is currently teaching at the studio along with getting her Bachelor's in Criminal Justice at Fort Hays University. Some of Madisyn's favorite activites are baking, fishing, and spending time with her family!

FUN FACT: Madisyn's favorite drink is a caramel macchiato from Starbucks!

INSTRUCTOR

Caelyn is originally from Stillwater, Oklahoma, and has danced since she was 4 years and has even danced competitively since third grade. While in high school, she was a member of Stillwater Varsity Pom and achieved recognition as a UDA All-American, OSDTDA All-Region Dancer, and a 2x State Champion in both Pom and Hip-Hop. She also was a 2x UDA National Finalist. This fall, she is gearing up to further her dance career by dancing for Cowley on the Tigerettes dance team and is also a part of the Cowley's cheer team. Caelyn’s expertise is in Jazz, Pom, and Hip-Hop with a technical background in Ballet!

FUN FACT: She loves mexican food and Starbucks coffee!

INSTRUCTOR

Gabby has been dancing competitively for 14 years now and counting! She has danced in Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Ballet. Her all time favorite thing to do is teach kids how to dance and how to express themselves through dance! She is more than excited to meet all of the dance students this season and work alongside her fellow instructors at the studio!

FUN FACT: Gabby's favorite colors are red and blue!

& GUEST INSTRUCTOR

Brynlea, one of our alumni, is currently represented by Lime Entertainment. After high school, she relocated to Las Vegas to train at the Theater Arts Preparatory School under the direction of Don Mirault. Upon completion of her training in Las Vegas, she has been a part of numerous shows and performances such as Enchant by Hallmark in Las Vegas and Kansas City, and A Cabaret Christmas at Roxy's Downtown. She recently appeared alongside Usher in the Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show. With a robust foundation in singing and acting, Brynlea excels in various dance styles, including Jazz, Hip-Hop, Tap, Heels, Ballet, Musical Theatre, and Contemporary. She is currently performing in Branson, Missouri at the Clay Cooper Theatre in "Clay Cooper's Country Express" and at the Kings Castle Theatre in "Cirque Electric Dreams." Brynlea enjoys being a choreographer and guest teacher, and is excited to work with the students again this season!
